Iside Pellegrino Preite (Cariati, 1990) is a photographer and entrepreneur based in Palma de Mallorca, working across Europe.
She grew up in a family environment rich in artistic influences: her grandfather, Antonio Mazzotta (Lecce, 1946), a painter and sculptor, passed on to her from an early age a passion for material exploration and visual expression.
Intersection and serendipity are two dimensions that
characterize the professional and artistic history of Iside. Economic-managerial background with specialization in the luxury sector and, above all, an artistic heritage that resides in her dna;
it was her grandfather, antonio mazzotta, painter and
sculptor in all fields, an indomitable experimenter fascinated
by the malleability of materials, who cultivated her aesthetic
sensitivity and ability to interpret "meanings" in the
intransparency of things, that of those who see without looking and look without observing.
